Connecting animals, people, and community

Our events play a big role in helping animals find homes and keeping rescue work sustainable. They’re friendly, welcoming, and focused on real outcomes.

Adoption Days

Adoption days give you the chance to meet our cats and dogs in a relaxed, supportive setting.

These events:

  • Help animals connect with potential adopters

  • Allow families to ask questions and learn about the adoption process

  • Create opportunities for meet-and-greets outside the refuge

  • Often lead directly to forever homes

Fundraisers & Community Events

Fundraising events help us continue our work as a charity with no government funding.

 

Our regular events:

Markets:

  • Mareeba Market on every 2nd and 5th Saturday at Mareeba Centenary Park.

  • Tolga Market on every first Sunday at Tolga Racecourse

Trivia Nights:

  • at various venues including the Atherton International Club
